Consultancy Group (BCG) information.
According to the BCG tender, digital
effective study 2013-14, online shopping is normal to boost to 14% by 2016 from
6% in the year of 2013. It also said earlier by 25% of navigation and
exploration-related demand are digitally driven in the country at present.
Digital influence is quickly broadened to small urban areas and
rural areas, as the number of mobile consumers have heightened. More than 34%
of total internet consumers in the country are from small areas of large
cities, while 25% are from rural areas which means from villages.
Of the total urban areas
Internet consumers, over 57% are of twenty-five and above, and 45% consume only
their mobile gear to access the Internet.
The earlier study also
said by 2016, the urban area Internet consumer’s base would grow to 47% from
28% in 2013.
According to the information,
allowances are not the only dynamic force for people to switch to internet shopping,
as was last thought, but things like convenience and access to wider assortment
is also largely affecting shopping decisions.
Offering a snapshot of
the key areas driving online shopping, the earlier report said the airplane
ticketing led the chart with 25% of sales being completed online previous year.
