LED, light emitting
diode is another kind of LCD,liquid crystal diode TV. The scientific name of
LED TV is, LED-BLACKLIT-LCD-TV. Both types of TV make by liquid crystal display
but normal people always confuse between LCD TV and LED TV but a technical
person never confused between both TVs because he/she knows the actual
parameters of the display.
Now I would like to
inform you both of TVs consume LCD technology, but you are thinking then what
is the difference in both TV’s.The answer ?is BACKLIGHTING. The ordinary LCD tv
use cold cathode fluorescent lamps (CCFL’s) for lightning display.The LED TV
use more reliable light emitting diode (LED) for high display and this is the
few advantage of LED TV.
In the simple
layman language we can say that LED is better rather than LCD but ultimately LED
is a part of LCD.
There are number of
advantages of LED backlighting over ordinary LCD lightning.
1.
First of
all light emitting diodes are very small in size than cold cathode fluorescent
lamps(CCFL’s) which means that the LED is thin in inches.
2.
Light emitting
diodes which has been using in LED and consume less power of electricity,
counterparts of LCD which consume CCFL’s.
3.
LED takes
less space as compare to LCD due to its depth.
4.
Picture
quality of LED is better than LCD.
5.
Nowadays,
everybody wants to designer and slimmer tv in their home.
6.
Nowadays,
we can purchase designer TV at very reasonable rates.
